As a Benedictine oblate of Saint Meinrad Archabbey, Stephen has a long history with the monastery in rural southern Indiana. In July, he traveled from Arizona to speak about Servant of God Dorothy Day—who was a Benedictine oblate of a different monastery—at the Alumni Reunion. His girlfriend, Toni Lynn, joined him for the trip. Sunday morning after Mass, Stephen took her up to Monte Cassino Shrine—a quiet spot tucked into the trees on a hill down the road from the Archabbey—where he proposed. Of course, she said yes!

It’s hard to believe another month of 2025 is already over, and we have less than a month of winter left. Here in Indiana, Mother Nature has definitely been teasing us with unseasonable warm and sunny days. I’ll take every single one of them!
