There’s something special about photographing a couple in a place that already holds their story — and for Logan and Gabrielle, that place is the garden at West Baden Springs Hotel in French Lick. It’s where Logan proposed, so it only felt right to return there for their engagement session. Anyone who knows West Baden knows why: the scenery is stunning, and the whole property has a quiet, romantic charm that's hard to put into words.

Spending an evening with these two, it was easy to see why they work so well together. Gabrielle is genuinely sweet, and it comes through the moment you meet her. Logan matches her energy right back with his own goofy sense of humor, and it was clear from the moment I met him just how much he adores her. They're each other's best friends — the kind of couple who's just as happy exploring a trail or touring a cave together as they are staying in for a home-cooked meal.
