Logan & Gabrielle, Summer Wedding in Jasper, IN

August 1st brought together everything I love about wedding days — family, laughter, and a small ceremony surrounded by the people who matter most. Logan and Gabrielle were married in a small ceremony with close family and friends, and honestly, those are always my favorite kind to photograph.

Some of my favorite moments came early, before the ceremony even started. Logan shared a first look with his mom, and Gabrielle had hers with her dad and mom—both moments were so sweet. As a mom, it’s easy for me to put myself in the shoes of those mamas. Kids just grow up so fast. Witnessing those quiet, meaningful moments is one of the best parts of my job. Those photos are so important and become more valuable as time passes.

After the ceremony at Redemption Christion Church, the celebration continued at Patoka Lake Winery, where the whole day had this relaxed, easygoing feel to it. Blue and yellow were woven throughout—Logan and Gabrielle's favorite colors—and the reception was full of energy, from a round of games that had Gabrielle grinning ear to ear, to a dance floor that hoppin’ most of the night. There’s nothing better than photographing a reception where people are having fun, and this one delivered.

Logan and Gabrielle, congratulations again on your beautiful wedding day. Thank you for letting me be part of it—wishing you a lifetime of joy together.
